Too Close To Touch mit vierten Teil von “I’m Hard To Love But So Are You”

Lexington Kentucky’s dreiteilige Band Too Close To Touch hat den vierten Teil ihre EP Serie “I’m Hard To Love But So Are You”.

Too Close To Touch sind Keaton Pierce (Vocals), Mason Marble (Gitarre), and Kenny Downey (Schlagzeug).

Die Band hat bisher ihre EP Serie “I’m Hard To Love But So Are You”, die Song Serie “Leave You Lonely”, “Before I Cave In”, “Burn” und ihre Alben “Never Endings” und “Haven’t Been Myself” veröffentlicht.

In 2016 hat Too Close To Touch den Award für “Best Underground Band” bei den Alternative Music Press Awards gewonnen. Haven’t Been Myself hat in den Billboard Charts auf Platz 3 der Alternative Artist Album debütiert, sowie Platz 9 der Top New Artists Album und Platz 133 der Billboard Top 200 der Aktuellen Alben.

Too Close to Touch spielen eine Mischung aus Alternative Rock und Post-Hardcore, welcher vergleichbar mit I the Mighty, Sleeping with Sirens, Emarosa und The 1975 ist. Anders als andere Post-Hardcore-Bands, arbeitet die Gruppe ohne den musikalischen Gegensatz zwischen harten Riffs und poppigen Refrains zu pendel, sondern schaffen eine gute Zusammenarbeit zwischen den Beiden.

“As we close out what has surely been one of the most difficult years for all of us, we’re both humbled and happy to bring you a new batch of songs from Too Close,” says vocalist Keaton Pierce. “I would say that this group is definitely the most diverse, and hits a pretty broad range on the spectrum of what we’ve released in the past. It feels fitting though, as this year has delivered such a wide array of emotions to everyone- Happiness, anger, sadness, hopefulness, and at times, hopelessness. As always, thank you for listening. Die Band hat ihr Musikvideo zu Pick Me Up veröffentlicht, dass von Andrew Onorato animiert wurde, der bereits mit Billie Eilish und Childish Gambino gearbeitet hat.

Der Song wurde von Daniel Muckala (Nick Carter, Echosmith) produziert und bezieht sich auf alle Erfahrungen in denen es darum geht mit den Hindernissen und schmerzvollen Herausforderungen umzugehen und diese zu überkommen.
