Ben Barnes überrascht mit „11:11“ und Albumankündigung

Es ist nicht das erste Mal, dass ein Schauspieler neben der Hauptkarriere Musik macht. In Ben Barnes Fall, ist das jedoch kein verzweifelter Versuch sich wieder ins Scheinwerferlicht zu befördern, weil er für keine Jobs mehr gebucht wird.

Die Musik war schon immer ein Teil seines Lebens, nur hat er sich entschieden der Schauspielerei mehr Aufmerksamkeit zu widmen. Die Akustikcovers am Piano haben schon erahnen lassen, dass er kein Auto-Tune braucht, um Töne zu treffen.

Auf seinen Social Media Kanälen hat er schon vor der Ankündigung ein paar Hinweise gegeben. Erst an seinem 40. Geburtstag (ja, Dorian Gray, nicht nur auf der Leinwand), war es dann offiziell! „11:11“ ist der Auftakt für die EP „Songs for you“, die am 15. Oktober veröffentlicht werden soll.

Im heute veröffentlichten Musikvideo kommt auch der cinematische Aspekt nicht zu kurz. Außerdem gibt es dort auch die wunderbare Evan Rachel Wood zu sehen!

Trommelwirbel. Es ist endlich so weit. Nach dem kleinen Teaser zum Video, gibt es „11:11“ ab heute in voller Länge.

It’s not the first time an actor has made music alongside his main career. In Ben Barnes‚ case, however, it’s not a desperate attempt to get back into the spotlight because he’s no longer being booked for jobs.

Music has always been a part of his life, only he has decided to devote more attention to acting. The acoustic covers on the piano have already foreshadowed that he doesn’t need Auto-Tune to hit notes. Ben, We’re incredibly glad you’re giving more attention to music and sharing it with us!

He dropped a few hints on his social media channels before the announcement. It wasn’t until his 40th birthday (yes, Dorian Gray, not just on the big screen) that it was official!  „11:11“ is the prelude to the EP „Songs for you„, which will be released on October 15.

In the music video released today, the cinematic aspect is not neglected. It also features the wonderful Evan Rachel Wood!

Drumroll. The time has finally come. After the small teaser to the video, „11:11” is now available in full length.
